How long will it take to complete the course?

The course includes 11 lessons and takes approximately 8 hours to complete.

How long do I have to complete this course?

Once you register, you will have unlimited access to complete the course and take your exam.

How do I receive my certificate of completion?

Once you complete the course you will take an online exam. You must score a 90% on the exam in order to receive your online certificate, which you can save and print. If you do not pass the exam on your first try – RELAX!  You’ll have four additional opportunities to retake the exam and pass.

Which states does the online course meet the requirements for concealed carry?

The online course meets the concealed carry requirements for many states, but we suggest contacting your county, city or state to verify whether or not it will properly fulfill requirements. 

What if I want to take a live-fire course at a range with an NRA Certified Instructor?

We’ve got you covered!  Once you pass this online course, you can use your PIN number to register for an instructor-led course in your area. Just go to www.NRAinstructors.org.

How much does the course cost?

The cost for the course is $60 and payment is accepted via credit card. After the credit transaction is approved you will be automatically registered in this course and you can begin taking the course immediately. This course is non-refundable.

Can I take the Blended Learning Instructor Led Training if I am pregnant?

Pregnant women and nursing mothers are encouraged to discuss their participation in the blended learning instructor led training of this course with their physicians prior to the first lesson. They should discuss the effects of exposure to loud sounds and (if using an indoor range) airborne lead particulate. If any students are pregnant or nursing an infant, they should not handle any chemicals,lubricants, or solvents unless they have discussed doing so with their physician.
